After spending a week with my grandmother in my mother's beautiful and spotlessly clean house, I'm a bit bummed to be back home in my own overcrowded - and not quite so spotless - place.
Looking around our flat this morning I'm thinking that maybe investing in a storage unit may not be as much of a waste of money as I had previously thought.
I have a meeting in about an hour, but I really want to clean the bathroom, vacuum and mop the kitchen, clean off the coffee table, unpack and go through the pile of mail Ryan picked up while I was gone. Why do I find it so difficult to relax or focus on work when my surroundings aren't in pristine shape?
I think my mother did this to me...
Yes. I think I'll blame her.
