Spotless Blame

After spending a week with my grandmother in my mother's beautiful and spotlessly clean house, I'm a bit bummed to be back home in my own overcrowded - and not quite so spotless - place.

Looking around our flat this morning I'm thinking that maybe investing in a storage unit may not be as much of a waste of money as I had previously thought.

I have a meeting in about an hour, but I really want to clean the bathroom, vacuum and mop the kitchen, clean off the coffee table, unpack and go through the pile of mail Ryan picked up while I was gone.  Why do I find it so difficult to relax or focus on work when my surroundings aren't in pristine shape?

I think my mother did this to me...

Yes. I think I'll blame her.
