To Love and Be Loved

"To love and be loved will be the greatest event in our lives." Rousseau

"Then we sat on the edge of the earth with our feet dangling over the side, and marveled that we had found each other." Erik Dillard

When we read those words, most of us think of romantic love, but, what if we apply this to relationships in general?

How about your children? Your parents? Your sister, a really good friend or even a beloved pet?

I thought about my beloved piano teacher and the day I first met her. "Marveled that we had found each other" aptly describes the feelings which flooded me on that sparkling afternoon my mother, sisters and I first walked through her door...

Who do you marvel at having found?
